Rice Release in EKH
The Deputy Commissioner (Supply) East Khasi Hills District has informed public consumers that Rice under National Food Security Act (NFSA), Non-NFSA and Whole meal Atta for the month of August 2018 and Sugar for the month of July, August and September 2017 will be released through the Fair Price Shops with effect from 23rd August 2018. Scale of issue for Rice under AAY is 35 kgs per card at Rs. 3 per kg, PHH 5 kgs per unit at Rs. 3 per kg, T.O. 9.5 kgs per household at Rs. 11.70/- to Rs. 12.00 per kg. Whole meal Atta will be issued at the scale of 8 kgs for urban areas and 6 kgs for rural areas at Rs. 8.00 per kg. Sugar will be issued at the scale of 3 kgs per household for NFSA and NFSA at Rs. 30.00 per kg. Any non-supply, overcharging of rate or supply of inferior quality should be reported to the office of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, Shillong.
