AIDS invades Meghalaya - 1992

The detection of HIV cases in Meghalaya should

 sound an alarm bell to the state government’s health department which appears to have been caught unawares in spite of global warning sounded by the WHO. This is borne out by a comment of the Director of Health Services (Research), Meghalaya, who also heads the Zonal Testing Centre, during the interview that the state government does not have any concrete policy to prevent AIDS.
