The festival director, Norbert G Suchanek said, “The state of Meghalaya is known for its uranium deposits but this Film Festival will not create anti or pro Uranium views. It’s an effort to educate and make the people aware of the different aspects of Uranium mining and highlight nuclear and radioactive issues.”
