Chapchar Kut Festival Celebrated in Mizoram

Chapchar Kut, was celebrated recently and as a mark of this annual festival, all the government offices and educational institutions in Mizoram were closed for the day. Chapchar Kut was celebrated from the 1700s when the Mizos were in present-day Myanmar after migrating from China.
