Out of the 53% who believe that the problem of corruption will be solved 64% of the respondents are below 30 years of age and 53% are students.
Out of the 30% who do not believe that the problem of corruption will be solved 66% are below 30 years of age which constitutes 29% of the total youth population surveyed.

ASSAM is the most optimistic with 26% of the believers from the state followed by Meghalaya 24%

SIKKIM is the least optimistic state with 25% of the non-believers from the state followed by NAGALAND with 24%.

Jan LokPal Bill Proposes

  • Time bound investigation, where dismissing of corrupt officers can take place and a time bound trial can be initiated.
  • Loss incurred by the government will be recorded for the culprits assets which will be confiscated
  • Increase punishment upto life imprisonment.
  • Make sure orders are implemented by punishing the complacent officers.
