The alleged misuse of social audits in Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act is causing concern to the Central government. A recent parliamentary committee report observed that MGNREGA is of considerable importance in a country where a large number of people still reside in rural areas and their day-to-day survival depended on their meagre wages earned from the work allotted by MGNREGA. This was amply evident when the registration for jobs witnessed a steep hike during the covid-19 pandemic period.

Jihadi activities in Assam are a concerning issue. Stemming their activities is an urgent necessity for the administration in Assam as they are posing a serious threat to the existing peace and harmony in the State. Their sole aim is to spread their tentacles across the State, trigger a reign of terror and foment all forms of violence.  So, in order to carry out their divisive activities, the jihadi elements are moving around in various kinds of disguises such as rickshaw pullers, petty traders, labourers etc, a fact about which the State police have drawn a conclusion after months of continuous investigation and operations against them.

Can scams have political Prem Kahani or love-tangles, coinage of new terms pertaining to the world of thievery, outburst of Gussa when a politician is touched by a lady cop and his arch rivals claiming he likes touch of only males not females?

Such things may not have happened in any other scam-stained Indian state but has taken place in the Trinamool Congress ruled West Bengal: now a field of Chore-Sipahi (thief-cop) game with ED and CBI chasing scam-tainted politicians and they are clamouring we are harassed by the bosses of BJP.
