In the North Eastern Region, Airtel launched its services eight years ago and thus completed their national footprint. As mobility is of tremendous importance to the North Eastern region, due to the topography and remoteness, Airtel,  has over the years, been able to establish itself very positively in the hearts and minds of the people of the North East, through various streams of business from voice to data, DTH and Airtel Money.

In a survey conducted by Eastern Panorama in remote places of the state of Arunachal Pradesh and along the national highways in the North East, it was found that Airtel has better connectivity compared to others.
