SBI N.E. CIRCLE GETS NEW CGM

Shri Sanjay Kumar Magoo has assumed charge of Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, North East Circle on 7th November 2013. Shri Magoo joined the Bank as Probationary Officer in the year 1979. He has the distinction of holding a variety of challenging assignments in the Bank. Just prior to taking over as Chief General Manager of the Circle, he was posted as the General Manager (Network II) in Bhubaneswar. He has vast experience in credit and IT. He held the charge of General Manager and Deputy General Manager in Core Banking and other special projects in Bank’s IT Department at Belapur. Shri Magoo is not new to this region, as he was posted as Asstt. General Manager at Bank’s LHO, Guwahati in 1999. He carries with him a rich combination of knowledge and experience. Over and above, his familiarity with the geography and culture of this region should be quite useful in delivering his stint as the flag bearer of the Bank in the North East.
