Agarbatti training in Mumbai

State office KVIC Shillong had organised a training programme for the production of agarbatti in Mumbai for the unemployed youth of the Khasi Hills of Meghalaya. The duration of the training programme has been stated to be for one month. State Director Mr. S. B. Mane inaugurated the training programme in Mumbai at the CB Kora institute of KVIC which is situated at Boriwali Mumbai, Maharashtra. The state office of KVIC had also previously provided a training programme for the manufacturing and production of pottery, fiber and agarbatti for the youth of the Garo Hills and also East Khasi Hills of the State. Out of many who had completed the training programme, most have been covered under the Prime Ministers Employment Generation Programme.
