Ghatowar inaugurates mega NE group art exhibition in Delhi

An exclusive Art Exhibition of paintings and prints for promoting north eastern artist was held in New Delhi recently. The exhibition inaugurated by Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Development of North East Region Paban Singh Ghatowar showcased works from promising artists of the entire Northeast under one roof. The exhibition was organized by Easel Gallery led by its director artist Wahida Ahmed. The exhibition, held from 17th Dec 2013 to 19th Dec 2013 in Alliance Franchise, Lodhi Road, New Delhi, was also presided by eminent Art Critic and Writer Suneet Chopra. Parvez Dewan, Secretary, India Tourism, Government of India was present on the second day of the Exhibition as Guest of Honour. Wahida Ahmed informed that the gallery has also got the invitation to participate in Delhi International Film Festival 2013. Around 200 artists across India will be participating in the mega art show which was recently held in New Delhi.
