NEEPCO hosted Inter-CPSU Chess Tournament under the aegis of Power Sports Control Board(PSCB) from 6-9 January,2015 which was inaugurated by Shri P S Deb, ED(C&P). Overall seven teams participated in the event including NEEPCO. In the team event NEEPCO emerged as the winner and in the individual open event Ministry of Power(MoP) emerged as the winner .Trophies and medals were given away by Smt. Debjani Dey GM(E), Renewable Energy and Shri Samarjit Chakrabarty GM(IE)
