Two Years of Modi Government Down but Not Out!

A recent survey claimed that: “As Prime Minister” Modi gets 6.2 in the scale of 10; but, overall, the “NDA Government” got only 5.5.

While the survey by ‘Centre for Media Studies’, New Delhi claimed, “Modi is seen as a “zero corruption leader” himself, and creditably none of his ministers is accused of corruption scandal, “petty corruption” at grass roots faced by common citizens, is “not yet felt any (change) significantly”.

On the northeast front too, the overall analysis is so far mixed. There have been few highly controversial decisions. While talk about operations inside Myanmar territory in June 2015 has not gone down too well, the “political impropriety” in dismissing Congress government in Arunachal Pradesh has earned brickbats.

The central intervention in Arunachal Pradesh and also later imposition of President’s Rule in Uttarakhand were only reflections of throwback to ‘bad’ old Congress culture.
