The challenge to execute this program was to get the land for this noble cause. Dr B .S. Syiem of Hima Khyrim allowed us to plant tree at Lum Bangla in Smit 15.1kms from the capital of Shillong. Not only that Kongor Sad and Syiem Khynnah of Hima Khyrim also were present during the plantation motivating the team and especially the kids. Infact the first tree sapling was planted by Kongor Sad ( husband of the Queen) Bah Arun Diengdoh on 5th June, the World Environment Day.
