Recruitment rally of the army
Thousands of Mizo youths participated in the special recruitment rally of the army which was held recently.
The rally was conducted in Aizawl mainly to raise awareness and to recruit Mizo youth whose representation is very less in the army.
Army recruitment officer Colonel Ashok Venkataraman said, “The participation of so many youth in this recruitment rally is a positive sign that Mizo youth in a large way want to integrate themselves with the rest of the country.”
