Joseph Mizo Singer par Excellence

Joseph Zaihmingthanga as his name (Zaihmingthanga) denotes ‘singer par excellence’ is a house- hold name in the hill state of Mizoram. Joseph had churned out as many as 6 chartbusters and holds accolades such as ‘Best New Artist’ presented by the state’s top musical weekly Journal ‘LELTE’, ‘Best Male Love Song Award’ for two consecutive years in 2004 and 2005 and also the ‘Best Male Gospel singer Award’. Notably, all the 38 self- composed songs topped the charts in Mizoram for this 29 year old who was been crooning since the early age of 11.
