Lei Synshar Cultural Society Organisedit’s 5th Youth Conference recently at Sein Raij Ummulong – Ummmulong. The theme of the youth conference was “Tyngkai kaba bha, jingkyrkhu ia ka jingim”. (Value what is good and it will be a blessing for life).

212 youth from 58 villages participated in this conference. The main object of the conference was the development of youth through group discussions, interaction and by a presentation of papers by resource persons. At the  conclusion of the conference, Wh. Omarlin Kyndiah, General Secretary, Sein Raij, Shillongalong with many other prominent members of the Sein Raij spoke at great lengths about Khasi, Jaintia culture and traditions.
