Kaziranga National Park re-opens elephant safari

After a seven month lull, the world Heritage site Kaziranga National park has been re-open as have the elephant safaris for tourist at two ranges under Kahara and Bagori. The park was formally opened by the Director of Kaziranga National Park Mr. S N Buragohain. According to officials 14 foreigners from Ukrain, Holland, UK and Switzerland were part of the inaugural safari. The Park authorities are of the view that this year, the park will see many foreign tourists.
