Tarun Gogoi

Two time Chief Minister of Assam Mr. Tarun Gogoi is a veteran politician under whose leadership the state of Assam has seen vast development. The 33rd National Games hosted by Assam has  been one of the many accomplishments of Mr. Gogoi’s ministry. The creation of the Bodoland Territorial Autonomous District and the holding of the first ever elections in the Bodoland Territorial Council were also achieved during Mr. Gogoi’s tenure. Besides these, the state has also seen the improvement of the overall power scenario in the state through the commissioning of 5 major power projects. The much awaited Assam Cracker Gas Project has also become a reality under this dynamic leader. He has also brought Assam to the attention of various international investors who are ready to pour in funds which can only help the state along the present  highway of development which Mr. Gogoi has steered Assam towards.
