Look East Policy
The Look East Policy of the Union government has failed miserably to deliver on its promises in spite of the  numerous delegates ferrying between India and various South East Asian countries. Though meetings to facilitate the implementation of the Policy were going on on a daily basis, Union Minister of DONER, Mr. Mani Shankar Aiyar himself had to concede in the end that the Look East Policy has so far not helped the development of the Northeastern states in any way  even though it had initially promised unbound development for the region.
