” Asserting that pacemakers only shorten the life span of patients, Dr. Baruah said that pacemakers are not the solution for heart blocks, nor can they prevent cardiac arrest. Similarly, bypass surgery is no cure for coronary artery disease.” Dr. Baruah cites an example which is very apt. He says that a horse will keep on running till it is tired but if the rider keeps on whipping the horse in a bid to make it run faster; the animal will eventually die of sheer exhaustion. “The same thing happens in the case of a pacemaker which is implanted in the diseased heart to make it beat faster and on several occasions, the rate has to be increased by the programmer. Ultimately the heart fails to respond and ceases to function permanently,” he said. The cure, according to Dr. Baruah, lies in the removal of the accumulated excessive calcium at sub – cellular level (mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum) with spontaneous correction of dysfunctional sodium pump at membrane level. “This allows generation of the required electrical impulses for ventricular contraction, which a pacemaker can not achieve,” he said. Maintaining that diseases like cancer and diabetes are completely curable, Dr. Baruah is of the opinion that dialysis and transplantation of the kidney are unnecessary exercises that only give temporary relief but eventually weaken the organ.
Dr. Baruah’s answer to all these diseases is the implementation of years of research and study in genetic engineering. He claims to have developed a genetically – engineered cure for dreaded diseases, especially heart disorders. To buttress his claims of inventing a “revolutionary” method of treatment, Dr. Baruah has produced about 30 of his patients including doctors, judges, lawyers and other professionals who have been cured by him even after conventional medical practices had given up hope on them. Dr. Baruah says that the new treatment is the first ever application of genetic engineering in curing serious diseases and that it could effectively render the ‘commonly used and flawed” medical methods like bypass surgery totally redundant.
W S Rane, a retired metropolitan magistrate from Mumbai said that even after having a bypass surgery in one of the most famous hospitals of Mumbai, his symptoms resurfaced after four months turning him into a cripple. He was treated by Dr. Baruah in December 2005 and had a miraculous recovery within weeks.
Dr. Dutta, another patient of Dr. Baruah said that Dr. Baruah’s innovative treatment could revolutionize the way heart diseases are understood and treated.” “I challenge any cardiologist to prove Dr. Baruah’s findings and methods wrong,” he said. Dr. Dutta said medical practice, as is being done these days, encouraged little innovation and scientific research. “The doctors are happy to prescribe whatever drugs the big manufacturing companies are churning out, unmindful of the harm the toxic drugs are causing on the health of the general people,” he said.
Dr. Birochan Das, a senior doctor of medicine at the National Medical College, Nepal, had a coronary artery bypass surgery done in 2002 but that failed to give him relief. He underwent Dr. Baruah’s genetic treatment for 11 days and the results were very interesting. Reports of tests conducted after the treatment showed remarkable regression in his blocked arteries. Dr. Das said that the genetic treatment could actually hold the answer to dreaded diseases. “I request the scientific and medical community to take my case as a case study and monitor the future developments with regard to my disease. Genetic engineering is a new subject and it might open up new vistas in medical science,” he said. Dr. Baruah recently treated a four year old cerebral palsy patient, Meghana Deka, who was brought to him from a city hospital in an extremely bad condition. “She had frequent seizures, no response to commands and no movement of the eyes, mouth, arms and legs. Our genetic therapy yielded results and she regained her movements,” he said.
Dr. Baruah has also produced Manash, a four year old suffering from Moyamoya, a rare and dreaded progressive cerebro – vascular genetic disorder that had no effective cure till date. “Moyamoya, which is caused by blocked arteries at the base of the brain, was first described in Japan in the 1960s, and has since been reported in the USA, Europe, Australia and Africa. The cause of the disease is unknown, though researchers suspect a genetic link due to its high incidence in certain Japanese families,” Dr. Baruah told the media.
Dr. Baruah said that the ‘Baruah syndrome’ discovered by him five years back is the root cause of the need for pacemakers, where excessive accumulation of intracellular calcium and functional dysfunction of sodium pump led to electrolytic imbalance causing reduction of ATP formation at SA node as a result of poor oxygenation. “Baruah syndrome affects all cells of the body, including heart muscles at sub – cellular level, causing poor myocardial ejection power and reduces the heart beat according to the severity of the disease,” he added. On genetic treatment of diabetes, Dr. Baruah said that his method addressed the root cause of diabetes and removed it. “Genetic treatment cures the root cause along with the complications, and does not merely reduce blood sugar. Insulin reduces blood sugar but the damage due to diabetes continues, leading to complications like neuropathy, nephropathy, cardiomyopathy, etc,” he said. “Modern medical methods like bypass surgery provide temporary relief and never address the root cause of the problems. My method involves decoding and changing the genes, as serious diseases have genetic causes,” said Dr. Baruah. Dr. Baruah said that he had challenged the medical fraternity to prove him wrong. “In the World Conference of Cardio – Surgeons in London on September 6, 2006, I dared anyone to prove my assertion on the uselessness and dangers of pacemakers and bypass surgery wrong, but no one opposed me,” he said. “I have also sent my articles to reputed journals but even though they have agreed in principle on the merit of these articles, they have not published my articles because of the pressure exerted by big Multi National Companies. However, nothing can deter me from my pursuit of the truth,” said Dr. Baruah.
All these examples and case studies provided by Dr. Baruah if they are indeed true indicate a revolution in the established medical methods of today. However, the Assam State Government has barred Dr. Baruah from administering his vaccine to human beings, saying that while he is free to continue his research, he will have to establish his method of treatment in accordance with relevant procedures governed by law.
