Carrying the coffin in an open truck which had the anti-terrorists festoons and playcards, the convoys of mourners passed through the main streets in Imphal before they converged at two different village grounds in the Imphal east district area for floral tribute ceremonies.

Hundreds of villagers including womenfolk in their mourning dress turned up to take part in the simple ceremonies that took place at P C ground at Top Khongnangkhong and Nigthoubung mang area prior to the last rites. Then the dead body was consigned to flames.
