Disgruntled Students Take Matters into Their Own Hands

Disgruntled Students Take Matters into Their Own Hands

Unknown miscreants hurled ‘kerosene bombs’ at the office of the Principal of St Edmund’s School and the adjacent office room at Laitumkhrah recently, causing partial damage to both the rooms.
The window panes of the Principal and the adjacent office room were broken and there were also marks of arson on the walls of both the rooms which indicated that more than one kerosene bomb was hurled.
After examination, evidence gathered was handed over for forensic testing.
It may be mentioned that the St Edmund’s School had hiked the school fees from the end of last year, leading to resentment among the parents, but the principal straightforwardly denied this having any link with the motive behind the attack on the school.
After a few days, it was found that those responsible were disgruntled students who were under the influence of alcohol.
