Eastern Panorama recently met Mrs. Subhalakshmi Panse, the Executive Director of Vijaya Bank while she was in Shillong to attend the bank’s Audit Committee board meeting. Mrs Panse who finished her M.B.A from Drexel University, USA is highly experienced in the banking sector and specializes in Corporate Credit Appraisal, Credit monitoring and NPA management. She is also a recipient of the Nari Chetna Award for her contribution in the field of Information Technology in the banking sector. Her contribution in spreading Information Technology is well appreciated and has been acknowledged by many institutions. She was even conferred the Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavna Award in the year 2008. Besides all this, she was also declared as the Banker of the Year in 2005 by Wisitex Foundation (Mumbai).
