The high voltage drama of BJP – JMM divorce was good enough to beat any Bollywood block buster. The parting of ways announced by the BJP Parliamentary Board at New Delhi had many a hiccup before finally ending inconclusive. However the handing over of the letter of withdrawal of support was left on hold by the BJP High Command. The entire confusion arose after Shibu Soren voted in favor of UPA during the division of votes on cut motion in the Lok Sabha. The BJP immediately took a stern step and decided to withdraw support to the 4 month old Shibu Soren government of Jharkand.

As per the schedule Raghubar Das was to meet the Governor at 11am on the 29th of April 2010 to submit the withdrawal and resignation letters but instead to the annoyance of the Governor; there were two postponements on the plea that they were awaiting the green signal from Delhi.
