One of the most prolific photographers of Arunachal Pradesh, he left for his heavenly abode at the International Hospital, Guwahati following a sudden illness on the 13th of May 2010. His mortal remains were taken to his hometown Chamuagaon, in Jorhat, Assam for the last rites. With his bereaved family members, we are all mourning the sudden demise of Bibhuti Bhusan Bharali.

Born in 1976 and raised in Arunachal Pradesh, Bibhuti joined the IPR department in 1996 as a photographer. Soon he established himself because of his designing skill apart from his creative photography. In his condolence message to the bereaved family, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Dorjee Khandu has deeply condoled and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. “A vacuum has been created which will be difficult to fill up immediately in the near future,” he said.
