Vijaya Bank opens its 1106th branch

Inaugurating the 1106th branch of Vijaya Bank at Purana Bazar recently at Dimapur, Maongwati Aier, the Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur said that there is immense scope for the youth of Nagaland in the banking sector. He urged the educated yet unemployed Nagas to opt for services in the banking sector which promises high wages besides perks.
The latest branch of Vijaya Bank is the second one in Dimapur and the fourth in Nagaland. Applauding the services of Vijaya Bank and the service it renders to the people of Nagaland, Mr. Aier said that the bank is doing a commendable job for the uplift of the rural people through its loans and subsidies.
The Assistant General Manager of Vijaya Bank Mr. Gregory Lobo revealed the bank’s plans of opening more branches in the near future in Nagaland. Being equipped with services such as e – banking, core banking and ATM facilities, Vijaya Bank offers services which are indispensable in the North East region which is hampered by problems of connectivity.
