Gorkha - Adivasi Pradesh Not Gorkhaland

After the murder of Madan Tamang, the President of All India Gorkha League(AIGL), on the 21st of May at the heart of Darjeeling town in broad daylight by some miscreants while preparations were being made to organize his party’s 17th Foundation day, the Gorkha Janamukti Morcha (GJM) for the first time since the incident held its meeting on the 31st of May with huge support numbering more than fifty thousand GJM supporters  at St Joseph’s School (North Point) ground of Darjeeling where more than 200 GLP cadres, the police wing of GJM, were also deployed.
