Her excellence in the performance had enthralled the audience and had been very highly praised by all leading local dailies and the electronic media. Beginning her performance with Vandana, paying obeisance to earth, the goddess of learning and finally her guru, she presented Kathak in Raas Taal. She impressed all with her Taiyari, precision of footwork, command over rhythm, the drut laya todas and different tihai. Guru Sobha Koser accompanied Tapasi along with Balraj Singh(tabla), Sunil Sharma (vocal) and Veval Sharma (flute). Incidentally, this young promising artist has also undergone and completed systematic training on Bharata Natyam under guru Ranjita Bordoloi of Jorhat.
