Dabur Gulabari Miss Fresh Face of Northeast, 2010

Dabur India Limited, India’s leading natural beauty care company had recently launched the second edition of its mega model hunt — Dabur Gulabari Miss Fresh Face of Northeast, 2010. The pageant is being organised to discover the fresh new face from the North East, a face that embodies the values of Dabur Gulabari - soft, fresh skin that glows like a rose.

The model hunt was conducted across colleges and institutes in the North East. After a city audition held at Guwahati and Jorhat, 19 finalists were announced who had competed for the coveted crown of ‘Dabur Gulabari Miss Fresh Face of Northeast 2010’. At the Grand Finale held on the 27th of October at ITA Auditorium, Machkhowa, Guwahati, Bhanita Mahanta from Assam was adjudged the winner of the contest. Hanna Partin from Arunachal Pradesh and Rajkanya Baruah from Assam were adjudged the first and second runner ups. Bhanita Mahanta walked away with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 while the other two winners received cash prizes of 30,000 and 20,000 respectively.

Having received an overwhelming response, Dabur Gulabari has decided to take the initiative further and make it an annual affair.
