Mr. A Jalan, Delhi

The pertinent point here is that the case of Hasan seems to have died down in the media and no one is actually talking about it nowadays. Another perfect example of how short public memory is.

A. Siddique, Guwahati

Our Indian government is by far the weakest government in the world. Action to avert more damage is never done. Why are the corrupt put on trial only after there is a fuss in the national media. Why can’t we take decisive action when the problem surfaces at the start itself? The time taken to declare the names of the people stashing their money in offshore banks is giving the culprits enough time to look for a safer avenue. If we had a strong government or a government which was not involved then the names of the people would have surfaced a long time back and this is no rocket science.
