Terror List Goof Up

The lack luster nature of Indian security agencies has caused India dearly in the recent past. How can this continue?

Jagriti , Mumbai

The CBI and IB are supposed to be the pinnacle of intelligence in the country. The intelligence agencies of the United States were able to track Osama Bin Laden to the compound at Abbottabad while our intelligence agencies don’t even know that people featured in their ‘Most Wanted’ list are living in plain sight or already in Indian jails. Tut, Tut.

S. Syiem , Shillong

How can the government give a list of most wanted to another government without verifying the same. Is it a mockery of the other government or just a sorry attempt to look serious?

Shackled for 10 Years

Tika Maya Devi's story has definitely left every reader flabbergasted. Where the so called human right activists? Apart from a few NGOs these activist should also come and help the poor girl and her family instead of only working in the fields where the sun is shinning.

The Power Game

Nitish Kumar will definitely be tested for a solution to the power crises in Bihar. These crises sure have the power to turn the tables on the political scenario of a state in the long term if not handled well.

Hat Trick for Congress in Assam

The 3rd term at Dispur for the Congress government should be an eye opener for the rest of the political parties in Assam to get their act together or they risk being wiped out.

Asif Iqbal , Guwahati

The Gogoi government should aim at a final solution with ULFA once and for all in this term and thereby find a permanent place in the people’s heart in Assam.

Government controls

Eviction of Baba Ramdev and the arrest of AKhil gogoi ( RTI activist of Assam) seems to be a ploy of the ruling government to crush the movements which they cannot control by dialogue.
