Newsmen rush to the college campus only to find a rusted, battered metal sheet that has been dug out of the ground.To complicate matters, the BOMB SQUAD is summoned. The officer attending the case then makes a big show of donning protective gear for about 15 minutes. And then, satisfied by the limelight, he then proceeds to the IMPACT SITE and proceeds to unceremoniously kick, yes, kick the erring metal sheet out of the way.

It may be mentioned here that in a previous bomb scare, an officer belonging to the bomb squad had been quoted as saying, “We don’t use complete protective gear when dealing with bomb scares as MOST OF THE TIME they turn out to be hoaxes”.
