A Living Legend Passes On

Mr. Stephan Leong, the technical Director of the All Meghalaya Karate – Do Association passed away on the 23rd of October 2011 after a prolonged illness.

Mr. Leong was a major factor in the promotion of sports in Meghalaya especially in the sport of Karate. A father figure to many, his demise has left a vacuum in the arena of sports in Meghalaya.
