While other students would jump at the chance to stay home and practice being a couch potato in front of the idiot box, Pranay does the complete opposite. As opposed to most children his age, Pranay readily braves ailments such as high temperature and barring gale force winds, thunder and brimstone, he has attended every school day for the last 10 years of his life.

A student of St. Edmunds School Shillong, this 10th grader is the grandson of Mr. C.L. Jhunjhunwala and son of Mr. Subhash Jhunjhunwala and Mrs. Manisha Jhunjhunwala.

Pranay is now vying for the Guinness Book of World Records for the most number of consecutive acedemic days attended. He is a little way off but at the rate he’s going as of now, worldwide fame is just a few years away.
