The Memorandum of Understanding also includes several programs for the practioners, scholars and the students. Those passing out with graduates and post graduate degrees can further pursue a doctorate level program at the CMJ University.

Dr. Nesar Ahmad, President of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India in his speech also informed that persons pursuing Company Secretary Course get direct access to the Managing Director and Directors which gives him enough opportunity to show his talent and prosper in life. The Company Secretaries course was started in 1956 and the Head Quarters is in Delhi. 66 branches are there in the entire country with 32,000 members and 3, 50,000 students.

Dr. P. W. Khongje, Parliamentary Secretary, Government of Meghalaya, in his speech appreciated the role played by CMJ University for the development of the higher education in the north eastern region and also welcomed to set-up of CMJ University at Cherrapunji. He also mentioned that there are various courses such as Company Secretary, Phd and engineering etc. After passing out the students can get jobs with a higher salary package within their own region and they don’t have to go outside their state looking for jobs
