The  Nongkrem Dance

The Nongkrem Dance is considered to be one of the most important festivals of Meghalaya. As you can see in the visuals , the Princess and the Prince along with other dancer’s display their rich culture with full set of traditional attire and original ornaments. In fact, the heavenly delectable destination of Smit is the most active and lively wing of the Khasi hills which houses an entire caboodle of traditional dances. Being feted at a venue known as Smit which is approximately 11 kilometers away from the picturesque locale of Shillong.
