Orianthi Panagaris was born on 22nd January 1985 in Adelaide, Australia. Although she is primarily of Australian decent the musical artist also has a little bit of Greek blood in her veins. The musical princess is more commonly known as a Guitar Goddess, being known by her stage name Orianthi. Orianthi had started her musical journey at a very early age learning to play the piano first and then she started to learn to play the acoustic guitar at the age of 6.
When Orianthi turned 15,she began to become more focused on writing songs and thus, began her musical career. The musical maestro struggled early in her professional career, but luck came her way and she gained fame after being introduced to the world as Michael Jackson’s official lead guitarist bursting into the world of global music in Michael’s famous ‘This is it’ world tour. She had also worked with many other renowned artists such as Steve Vai, Steven Tyler, Carlos Santana, Ozzy Osbourne and many more. Her first solo album entitled ‘Violet Journey’ got her noticed by some fans of Rock and Pop, but it wasn’t until the release of her second album ‘Believe’ in late 2009 that fans really understood the musical genius that Orianthi is. ‘Believe’ had put Orianthi on the map and on the road to success, and it has been smooth sailing for the artist ever since.
