SIKKIM TO ENACT “Well Being of Generation Act”

For accurate reporting of climate change and adaptation in media, the information gap between journalists and experts need to be bridged. This can be done through regular interaction between media and scientists as well as policymakers.
This emerged at the end of a state-level media workshop on climate change reporting in the state capital last month. The three-day workshop was jointly organised by the Indian Himalayas Climate Adaptation Programme (IHCAP) of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the Centre for Media Studies (CMS), along with the state government.
