ALL PARTY GET TOGETHER
In Meghalaya without any acrimony all the political parties contesting the elections have got together into a single platform in some of the constituencies like Sohra and Nongstoin where supporters of all the candidates assemble to hear out, what each candidate have to say without any interference which is not actually a formal debate. It is an uncommon sight that the different party flags would be flying together, flapping away in harmony in the blowing of the wind of change, which has become a common slogan for almost all the parties. This has very much cut down the waste of time and money for the voters to attend each and every election rally. It is in these all party get together, that there is an absence of back biting and hate speeches and that the voters can absolve with clear thinking minds to whom they would chose ,which one can call a true sense of indigenous democracy.
