Gaurav and Elizabeth tie the knot

Recently, the Chief Minister of Assam had taken some time off from the political scene of Assam in order to tend to a family matter. The Chief Minister’s son Gaurav Gogoi had married his girlfriend, an alumna of the London School of Economics, Elizabeth Colebourn on the 24th of September, 2013. Though the wedding was held at Gogoi’s hometown , the reception, however, was held at Delhi where high profile guests such as Sonia Gandhi, L. K. Advani,Sushil Kumar Shinde, Kamal Nath and Sharad Yadav attended the function.
