National Film Award for Manipuri Actress

Leishangthem Tonthoingambi Devi from Manipur won ‘Best Supporting Actress’ in the ’59th National Film Awards’ for the Manipuri film ‘Phijigee Mani’. She received the Rajat Kamal and cash prize of Rs 50,000.

The feature film ‘Phijigee Mani’ is directed by Oinam Goutam and bagged the ‘Best Regional Film Award’ in the ’59th National Film Awards’.
