Shillong’s Singing Prodigy

Fifteen year old Ibarisha Lyngdoh was recently awarded with the distinction of the Associate of the Trinity College of Music, London. In doing so she thus became the youngest to be bestowed with such an honour. The examination included songs in English, French and German. The examination is usually for people much older, but Ibarisha has proved her singing talent time and again by performing in several languages like Italian and Latin and being invited to join the Julliard School of Music, New York. Ibarisha was also associated with Shillong Chamber Choir. She has also performed solo all over the country and her first international solo concert was in Switzerland.
